Justin FitzPatrick started with the simple idea of wanting to see men wearing better shoes. To make this possible, Justin made two goals: to create the largest shoe blog in the world on classic dress shoes and to start his own shoe brand so that he could supply men around the world with high-quality, stylish footwear.
These goals took him to Italy, where he apprenticed in bespoke shoemaking under the late Stefano Bemer, and then onto London, where he continued studying under Gaziano & Girling. At the same time, Justin was documenting his journey and writing all things shoes on his world-renowned website, The Shoe Snob Blog. In 2013, Justin launched his namesake shoe brand J.FitzPatrick Footwear on Savile Row in London, England.
In 2017, Justin moved back to the States to grow his shoe brand and launched a US offshoot of the company. Sadly, that business overtook the London one, and Justin had to close the UK company to focus on his Stateside growth. In early 2020, J.FitzPatrick Footwear launched its first street-level shop in Soho, Manhattan, where Justin continues to offer “classic with a twist” dress shoes to anyone who appreciates unique yet classic style, with The Shoe Snob Blog, still in full effect!
