It’s a Boot Time

Hey, I’m Nick. When I moved to New York from Australia and needed tough footwear for the first time in my life, I spent weeks researching my first pair of boots.

I scoured Reddit, forums, and seemingly-paid-for blogs, but what I wanted was an authority. A single resource that focused on this space and had a broad perspective from investigating how different companies, artists, and cultures design and produce boots for different guys.

And I wanted to read reviews from someone who had actually worn the damn things.

I couldn’t find that, so I wound up creating it. Years later, Stridewise has expanded into a resource that covers all manner of durable and casual menswear.
